I got back to Melbourne on a Saturday. Kavita had been back for the past week. Before we left for New Zealand, we stayed a night at the
BatCave, but then transfered our bags to the
Grand Hyatt in the Melbourne CBD, which is where we'd stay upon returning from NZ. But the corporate rate is only good for one guest, so either we cough up $60/night to add my name, check into a different hotel, or have me sneak in and out of the hotel for the next two weeks. Yeah, you know what we did.

On Sunday, we hit up the
St. Kilda Street Festival. We had been to St. Kilda Beach earlier in the month, which saw record highs that day. We spent some time in the water that day, but it was just too damn hot. This time around, the weather was a lot more pleasant. The highlights for us of the Festival was the Hari Krishna booth, which had a bunch of white people singing in Sanskrit, and the Victorian Open Beach Volleyball tourney. We walked along the beach, marveled at the kite surfers, then made our way back home. Only a few more days until we fly out to Sydney.

Monday was Valentine's Day. Being a bit exhausted from all the traveling, we opted for a more low key evening, so we stayed in, ordered
Dominos, and watched
MKR.
